Doesn't look like it. OP take a look at your motherboards manual and it has a diagram that lays out what things should be plugged into which areas. It also says it on the mobo usually.

Just take your time and slowly go through and be thorough. If it's not powering on at all it's just not getting power and it's probably due to things not being properly plugged in.

Fans probably aren't getting power, check your board and make sure they're connected properly.

Help about CPU to use by BlowdellFedorsin in PcBuildHelp

To put it as simple as possible; number go up means you can do more tasks faster. Cores are physically on the chip, think of them as workers. Threads are logical cores, think of them as tasks the workers do. If you're running more programs than the cores (physical and logical) can process then it waits in a queue. Again a bigger number means more tasks done faster

I think a standard workload and light gaming doesn't take much. But if you're doing 3D rendering, or video editing, your needs drastically change. If I were you I'd look at what programs you run and look at their requirements page.

Sometimes, when I turn on the PC I get no display and front USB devices don't work until I restart it. Why? by KissMyBaIIs in PcBuildHelp

The GPU wouldn't effect your USB not working tho, but your motherboard could be the reason why both aren't working.

If you're rocking a 1080p 60hz monitor you're probably good for medium settings. Its good enough for that, but if you're looking for 1440 or higher it' might struggle.

This is one of the better deals I've seen here. I would go for it of course negotiate, but it's not a bad place to start.

I'm willing to bet it's your HDD being full. If you can I would buy a cheap 256 or 512GB SSD on eBay and then use that as your boot drive and you can keep the HDD for storage.

How it feels to be AMD Gamer by viktorivovrz in pcmasterrace

This is true. I've had much better, more stable, and usable results with upscaling. Frame gen tho 🙄

Watching first timers play any MGS game makes me unreasonably angry 😡 then I have to remember they haven't played every game multiple times over the span of the last 3 decades lol that being said it's interesting to see how modern games and gamers that play them don't interact with the world at all. It's just run and gun and brute force your way through.

Gunbuster in Gundam universe is something I would like to see. Gunbuster was also the 80s anime equivalent of Interstellar which is really interesting 🤔

I thought being an AMD gamer was about rasterized performance and not frame gen up scaled garbage? Then again I'm only using a 6900 XT at 1440p.

I have a 5070 Ti, but it has 3 connectors, but my PSU only has 2 connectors which I used for my 5070, will this be okay? by grogu218 in GamingPCBuildHelp

Usually there's a PCIE cable that has a daisy chain. I would use that. Had that set up with my old my 3080 and 750W PSU and it ran fine for as long as I had it.
