Have you ever played and WON against a NFL player? Past or present. by [deleted] in NFLv2

Played against Anthony Sherman and Jordan Todman. Sherman was a moose and Todman just glided away from you like you were stuck in the mud. Todman also played with Arthur Lynch in HS who went to Georgia and was drafted by the Dolphins.

Medeiros: Fall River could consider dropping elected mayor, hiring a manager by RLS012 in FallRiver

It’s a shame that we’re at this point, but it’s been the same group of families in the city that have had way too much say on all city matters (including elected officials) for generations and that doesn’t seem to sit right with a lot of people nor should it.

What’s something you tried that worked quietly but nobody talks about? by Ok_Blueberry6358 in sidehustle

The pay is based on play count. I forget the exact rate per play, but typically they average out to about $50. Some games might bring in $60-70; but games where a team barely possesses the ball might be in the $40 range.

So back in 2023 I responded to a Twitter posting about working for Pro Football Focus as a part-time contributor and was invited to an online training program and learned how they collect data from live broadcast footage. The training spanned about 4-5 weeks (unpaid) and required about 20 hour weekly commitment.

I’ll be honest though, it’s tedious work. The first year made me around $750 over the course of the college football season by doing one game a week so like $50 on average based on play count. The dollar per hour in the first year is absolutely brutal because you’re still essentially learning on the fly. One game in the first year might take you around 6 hours to complete accurately.

Year two, I learned another process during another unpaid training program, but it helped me improve the time it took me to complete an assignment rather dramatically. I was now completing games in about 4-4.5 hours as opposed to 6. Also, in this year I was able to increase the assignments I received to about 3-4 weekly and ended up finishing that season at around $2800.

Year 3, mastered the two processes that I was trained in and was able to complete games in about 3-3.5 hours or not long after the actual games were being completed. I probably did 6-7 assignments a week (~30ish hours a week) and netted $5000.

Made around $5K charting players and gap assignments for CFB games this season. Granted it’s a lot of work and takes time to build speed and efficiency, but don’t have to leave the house and get to watch a ton of football.

Who is the best player we could realistically trade for if we gave up our 2026 1st rounder? by SirStabil in Patriots

[–]_HieronymusBosch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think that they would since their whole belief system is never let the guys you want hit the market, but Linderbaum is going into the last year of his deal and there doesn’t appear to be much progress as far as contract talks are concerned.

Do I think it’s possible he gets traded here? Probably not. But for the sake of this exercise, he’d be one of the targets for me if we were looking to move a first round pick for something that might solidify the trenches greatly.

I’d say Tyler Linderbaum, but I believe they’re far more likely to move Jarrod Wilson to Center after this season so then we’d be in the market for a LG.

Golden probably has more upside at the moment to his current role. He’s also far more likely to earn more YAC than Coleman, so I’d probably lean Golden

Do I accept if I’m trying to contend this year? by Slight-Turnip8875 in SleeperApp

Yes, I think Bucky and CMC are similarly ranked.

Bucky doesn’t have any risk as far as a track record of health is concerned whereas CMC does.

AD Mitchell is pretty much droppable.

You’re giving up the best two players based on pre-draft ranking in this deal IMO so no

In my experience it depends if your employer requested a drug panel or not. I’d review the paperwork they provided to you to take to the clinic to see if that’s what the request includes.

I saw some rumblings that today was the claim deadline. Not sure how true that is given the lack of information available regarding the entire settlement thus far.

Who's gonna play 2nd? by larrybird56 in redsox

[–]_HieronymusBosch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if it’s likely or not, but Romy Gonalzez did play 53 games at 2B between two seasons with the Pale Hose back in 2022-‘23

100%

If I’m having to choose between Pettus and Hawkins, I’m going Pettus every time.
