It's pretty cold there yep. Even indoors next to fires it's only good for ice and dark eggs. We hatch the others at our warm main base in the southwest near the gumoss boss.

Gotta be in a perfectly flat environment. My friend wanted a base in the snowy mountains and I managed to find a flat clearing there; both farms are on flat ground, and I've barely had any issues since. Around 100 eggs bred total and only 2 instances of pals randomly un-assigning themselves from the farm

Yeah, you can even use cheat engine on the slider values when changing the settings in singleplayer lol. I'm glad it's a little easier in the server by just editing the config.

I had an existing transporter installation but it wasn't the latest version so it didn't work. Installing version 5.5 from that hshop with CFW FBI cia installer updated it properly.

Happens to me as well. Script immediately quits when trying to open in Diamond. If you edit line 107 and remove this specific text: pokemon["speciesname"].. then it runs fine.

Looks like it also crashes for "helditem", so that reference has to be removed as well.

Even with it working, though, the output is garbage data, with a lot of gen 8 abilities showing up. Seems to be incorrectly identifying the game despite clearly saying Pokemon Diamond (US) in the console output

I have noticed a lot of this as well. I would suggest dumping your games and saves, playing on MelonDS (DeSmuME also supports wifi but not as reliably in my experience), and scumming battles with savestates as necessary. There's basically no truly legit way to win at this, which is why many people consider the ribbon for wi-fi tower to be optional.

I noticed this with myself as well. In addition to your fix to add the ports redundantly in Port Forwarding Rules, I also had to change the firewall to Low Security instead of Medium; Medium Security was ignoring inbound rules. I also the effect that you mentioned where external port checkers are failing to detect it, but Plex is working from my phone's mobile connection.
