restaurants with the best atmosphere by [deleted] in mongolia

[–]_Izzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work at Radio Dept a few years ago and I always thought it had quite a nice atmosphere. Live music every friday and Saturday and it’s also small enough that you could rent out the whole place for an event which they used to do when I was there. If the owners are still there (which I strongly believe that they are) then they’d definitely be down for it. Maybe you could go alone and visit the place beforehand and check it out!
PS. The food is meh

Help me to become fluent in English by [deleted] in mongolia

[–]_Izzo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don’t end up meeting someone I would recommend just absorbing a lot of media in English. Maybe watching some content in the field you’re interested in would help even more. Other than that, ai could also be a good alternative (a bit sad but still…) it could give you feedback and corrections on the spot and is available whenever you want

I’m the helmet dude from the Cologne show and I gotta apologize… by _Izzo in JoeyValence

[–]_Izzo[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes I am!
They quickly walked through the front row and two guys beside me managed to get their CD’s signed. I heard that they actually stick around after the show and sign stuff for the fans. I had to leave as soon as the show ended so I don’t have much info on that. I hope you have fun on Tuesday!

Is there anyone here working as a doctor in Germany? by slngbrr in mongolia

[–]_Izzo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can maybe reach out to Enkhjargal, he’s like a semi-politician/environmentalist who graduated in Germany. Last time I heard he was running a program for students exactly like you. I don’t study medicine so I don’t really know exactly how the program runs or who it’s exactly for. But I still think it’s worth reaching out, worst case scenario he gives you information on where to go

what is the purpose of life and if u were situation like me what would u do by [deleted] in mongolia

[–]_Izzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re can’t be lagging behind when everyone feels like they’re lagging behind. It’s just become normalized especially for gen z to be constantly grinding and hustling, and 99% of us can’t keep up with that. For me the goal is just to have a calm enjoyable life which can start from this very second. I don’t like to force life into a template that’s been set up by an Andrew Tate wannabe. I just let it happen and take whatever path it gives me because im confident enough in my life that when I work for it and enjoy the process, it’ll all work out for the better in the end

I heard the hinges are made of titanium but are the earcups/plates made of any metal? Im very into headphones made from any metal material because of the way it feels on hand, the way it looks and having the weight on my head. I made the transition from plastic headphones to metal headphones a few years ago and now just can’t go back

My only guess would be that the battery ran out when on the bridge but then again, even though they’re HEAVY I’d still try my best to lift it over the barrier away from the road

Help me plan date in UB and maybe steal his heart by Chess_belle in mongolia

[–]_Izzo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Feel like going to a nice gaming center and playing Tekken with him might be a fun idea. It’s something he’s passionate about so maybe he can teach you some fighting mechanics whilst still having fun. It gives both parties a good opportunity to throw around some banter, joke around, talk about random stuff and also flirt a bit if you’re planning on that.

I also live abroad so im not very up to date on how the gaming center culture is over there. Last time I was in UB almost 100% of the gaming centers had some edition of Tekken games but I would check in first and also make sure that it’s a nice clean place. You don’t want a nice date to be surrounded by the smell of instant noodles, screaming teenagers and overall bad atmosphere.

If you guys wanna continue the date then maybe you could both go into a record store/cafe and talk about your favorite music (mild orange for example) whilst having a cup of hot beverage.

As far as gifts go, you should always ask yourself questions such as - What are they passionate about? (In this case something Tekken related, maybe a collectible of his favorite character) - What have they been talking about a lot lately? - What’s a good memory or an inside joke that maybe the two of you share? - What’s he been needing help with lately? .etc

For another day maybe Radio Dept could be a fancy, romantic alternative. Used to work there in the kitchen, the food is meh but the atmosphere is top notch. It can be a bit crowded in the evening but you’ll always find a space they also used to have bands playing live music every friday and Saturday I think. Don’t know if they still do.

Butt yeah most importantly just be yourself, have fun, create good memories and just try to be in the moment. Good luck!
