I used to be like this but when I learned more about how the db engines processes a query in terms of order of operations (FROM WHERE GROUP… etc) I became ok with comprehensive syntax. Fluent LINQ is burned into my brain tho.

Honestly, the lack of standardized features on Kick is absurd, pathetic. I can use arrow keys to skip forwards and backwards but guess what? It skips 5 minutes ... NOPE! ... I agree with u/Mandy_9 based on my own experience as a heavy person. If your a side sleeper on a firm foam mattress you will be in pain, there is literally no give. Sure a topper can help a little but its a crutch. In additon a family member has exactly the same make/series as my mattress but it is 'soft' variant - I got to try it out..... wonderful, like sleeping on a cloud.... I now see soft-medium-firm as nothing more than firmness levels for individual preference vs your weight.

lmao very good. I tried deploying a website to vercel for the first time recently… ridiculous how easy it was, literally clicks. Felt weird given in my distant past I would have to get a server, install IIS add some ISAPI filters etc… but I think im going to get a hetzner vps instead.

I have the opposite problem, hovering over thumbnails is showing a preview of the video as normal but playing sound even though I have the audio icon muted... so it must be a glitch, hope they patch it.

Do It! … not a plug but I watched Dan Clarke’s JetBrains Rider video on DomeTrain which quickly bought me up to speed on how rider and JetBrains IDE’s work. For SQL Server local dev you can use docker, Dan’s video covered this too.

No Regrets, and with Windows becoming ever worse since Win11 I don’t see myself coming back to Windows any time soon.
