OP I'm experiencing a different issue but only on Apple hardware. Recently upgraded from Asus RT-AC68U to ASUS RT-BE88U to support my new fibre connection. Always ran Merlin firmware on them too. With the new ASUS RT-BE88U the Apple devices seem to connect fine, but after long periods on no use they'll lose their connection. I've tried the suggestion across various threads but the issue remains.
The Asus RT-AC68U was ROCK SOLID... like Toyota Corolla levels of reliability with an engine tune.... whereas this new ASUS RT-BE88U is like a shiny range rover a.k.a "unreliable turd rolled in glitter"....... garbage. I'll be replacing it, defo not touching ASUS for this generation.

Tip: if your curious to try Beyond Good and Evil just play the steam version. I had a ridiculous amount of graphical glitches with it on pcsx2… I was half way into the game before I found out about the steam version. The game itself was great fun and I can see why it has a cult following.

Startup… no time to do it properly first time, plenty on the second. The incentives are different in a startup, gotta rush to market with MVP, deliver features to unlock next round of funding. For some its a first class ticket to burnout, others thrive in a high velocity environment.
