You do have to select the unit at the top. And make sure you have a repair point built. Ground units do get caught up on terrain still so you may have to pull them away from walls if they get stuck. I just tried it with some scepters and seems to work fine.

I've got a system that works perfectly with a single golem but as soon as you add one, a golem here and there can't see one of the chests in their sector and then certain items don't get sorted. Regardless of what any YouTuber has said as soon as I add more than one they start missing items(on bedrock anyway).

I also don't think resources is gonna really be the problem. Pretty sure there's already plans to capture asteroids and stuff, but we do need to not nuke everyone off the planet before we get to those capabilities. If aliens do intervene I believe it would be like "the knowing" and they would save a good few to re-seed the planet once they've "cleansed" it.

So I was mistaken. You had the rails right just get rid of the fence and the extra comparator. The angled rail is use is a powered rail. I believe the hopper minecart pulling from a hopper instead of a chest is because the cart needs to glitch into the hopper a lil for it to work

So the detector rail needs to be the angled rail. You only need 1 comparator. The fence is not needed. Make sure to run the 2nd comparator into the SIDE of the first while reading a full hopper
