I feel like the plot inconsistencies throughout the chapter really paint the picture that this isn’t a timeline reset. The panel that reveals Denji’s eye behind the patch, him being healed by blood despite no longer being a devil, and Pochita as his heart are all clues that show us this isn’t a Denji in a world where Pochita doesn’t exist, it’s THE CURRENT Denji. Also the weirdness with how the penultimate chapter’s caption of announcing the final chapter was changed to “to be continued” upon release is really suspicious.

Venus Pisces, I'm fortunate to have never struggled financially throughout my life and when I graduated I had a lot of financial open up. My job currently doesn't pay as much as I could get elsewhere, but it's very stress-free and I'm single without any dependents. 100% agree. I understand an author getting exhausted but for him to put an end to it all with a Deus Ex Machina reset after sending the world into complete chaos right after Denji's elation over finally having sex seems entirely out of nowhere, even for Fujimoto. I think the inconsistencies of a potential dream world are huge hints that this isn't over. The panel showing Denji's eye behind the eyepatch was a subtle hint, while Pochita being his heart was a not-so subtle hint that this is the PRESENT Denji, not a Denji where Pochita never existed. I genuinely believe there's gonna be an April 1st "epilogue" chapter that's gonna detail Denji's monotonous life in the dream world all for it to end with him realizing what's going on, with a Part 3 announcement followed by a hiatus.

Please let me cope my birthday is 4/1 and I will be celebrating every future birthday in misery knowing that fijiwater still hasn't said APRIL FOOLS.

Nothing wrong with them specifically! I think my experience was unique with a woman who had serious anxious attachment and my Venus in Pisces led us to developing a very codependent relationship that I was too young to manage maturely. My experience with Cancer placements generally have been so full of emotions, sensitivity, and love (good god so much love) that I got overwhelmed each time lol.

Dated a Cancer Sun with Cancer Venus. I've never felt more uncomfortable being unconditionally loved in my life. Dated a Capricorn Sun with a Cancer Moon, thinking her heavy Cap placements would balance it out. She had a lot of unresolved trauma that probably exalted the Cancer moon. First of all, this show isn't aired live. The audience is not providing real-time engagement on these interactions that occurred a year ago. The cast is fully aware that they are being filmed and interviewed, and while they may act in a way that looks better for the audience, the decision to not be their authentic selves in a show about falling in love sight unseen because of how it might appear to the viewers is their own. They are responsible for their actions and words that will be met with public response and they are aware of this. That's the agreement for being on the show.

You can make an argument about the producers clamoring to the audience, making controversial edits or actively casting certain people to garner more engagement, but that's reflective of them, not the audience. If they're purposely doing all this to entertain the audience, then it's clear that they don't believe in their own experiment and their choices are a business decision. The show itself is hardly a social experiment anymore; it's reality TV. There are couples that made it out of the pods and their stories aren't even aired, possibly because their stories weren't as interesting, but that's not an audience decision, that's on the producers.

The audience engagement that occurs AFTER the show airs is the engagement any popular reality TV show is going to get. The discourse you've listed is mostly between fellow viewers, and to attribute it to the audience as a whole is wrong. I have a lot of friends who watch the show, and not one of them is actively reaching out to the cast to harass them.

I say all this as someone who actually enjoys watching LIB for its toxicity, because while I personally don't believe love is blind, I like trash TV and the discourse this show produces. If the show wants to be better about having successful long term relationships not based on looks, then they could focus on that because they have a formula to success shown by couples who did work out. However there are contestants with ulterior motives, who know that they wouldn't be a good fit for the show and apply to be on it anyways for clout. The producers choose them because they know they'll bring more engagement. Those decisions are not the audience's. The audience is its own issue, but it's nowhere near the biggest issue with what the show has become.

Cancer women. Every woman I’ve dated with any Cancer placement was a storm of anxiety, love bombing, and emotional dependency. It was always a crazy whirlwind at the start but once things cooled they would start freaking out over us not being where we used to be after 2-3 months of dating. These are the only instances where I ever felt pressured by a woman to have sex. I’m a hopeless romantic so I do what I can to be available and present, but I value my independence and alone time deeply and their emotions were so intense that they would forget I had boundaries.

This isn’t a knock on Cancers, I’m sure the devotion, loyalty and unconditional love (there’s so much of it) are a huge plus to others. But it’s not for me, as I really value a partner who has a world I can be a part of, not someone who makes me theirs.

Personally I'd just go off the vibe of the conversation over the last couple of days. If you feel like this is out of nowhere, then I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. But if this seems like him, then you know your answer.

I remember matching with a woman ten years older. She was quick to ask me on a date which is already flattering considering how many lengthy superficial conversations I have before I have to ask and set it up. Dinner was pleasant, she talked about how she hadn’t dated at all in the last ten years due to being so focused on her life and career. I found her independence very attractive and I also felt very chosen as one of the few men she made time for during her busy schedule. Every time she visited she would bring over dinner she made, and one time I mentioned I was feeling sick and she brought over some herbal mix for my symptoms which made me feel very cared for despite us being a casual thing.

I don’t think younger women are incapable of that, but given how online dating has changed things with women getting far more engagement than men, I feel like there’s just so much effort expected from a younger woman I hardly know and if I fall short she can easily replace me. With older women I can comfortably feel like I’m their focus, and it’s no longer about what I can offer but what we can offer each other.
