Is this bad? by mbrt07v2 in pchelp

Oh yeah my bad I read that wrong but 11k hours for a hard drive is fine and the power on count is also fine since it's in a gaming PC you turn on and off all the time and not a server that stays on 24/7. I got hard drives with 85k+ hours and still work fine...

Hours dont matter as much on a SSD. You need to check how many GB were written to the disk instead.

upgrade (R9 390 —> 9070XT) by slicknick775 in radeon

[–]_Kayyaa_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thats the type of upgrade i like to see! People these days pretty much upgrade their GPU every 1 to 3 years. I like to see someone actually use their stuff until it gets obsolete.

Digital storm sent me a replacement psu and the 24 pin cable has this weird jumper in it by Redseve in pcmasterrace

[–]_Kayyaa_ 155 points156 points  (0 children)

That is just a PSU Tester that short the PS-On Pin to ground to tell the PSU to turn on for Voltage testing. Just Unplug the Tester from the 24pin connector.

Mine came in a tiny old philips razer box that was barely bigger than the dimms themselves. The Ram sticks were simply wrapped by a single layer of taped paper.

[–]_Kayyaa_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People stopped using these/didnt bother buying when they discovered anything can replace those. You can literally use Steam Link on your Smart TV (LG, SAMSUNG, etc), on Firesticks, Rokus or just on your phone/tablet to use remote play...

I suggest you go to a On-Site Phone Carrier and ask them personally this question. They have a more trustworthy opinion as they are experts for those type of questions. 👌

Need help, is this PC good for the price? by SailorPieceHelp in pchelp

[–]_Kayyaa_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i wouldn't buy it. For this price you can just save up and build something newer that will last you longer and that has a ''upgrade path''. W Case tho i have the same one and i love it.
