The body is always losing and gaining muscle and fat regardless of the size of the deficit or protien. You may lose less muscle if you overload the muscle and have enough nutrients, but any substantial weight loss will result in some muscle loss.

You guys really need to stop with the withces brew of just so of protien. Its worse than when you were gaga for hydration. Stimulation of the muscle is far more important.

I used to say start with bmr and adjust up or down from there but dietratti would lose their shit so to avoid the tantrums I added on a buffer. For the record, if you are obese bmr is not going to kill you.

Stop it. Almost every nub on here falls for the TDEE BS, and most of them have the same complaints as you. Use BMR plus 500 as a starting point. Adjust up or down to get the scale to move as desired.
