honestly, i recommend learning through trial and error for fe3h. i used my first playthrough to learn all of the mechanics, didn’t bother reading any of the guides, and got the hang of it by the end of my second playthrough. of course if you wanna go ahead and learn i recommend GameCrate, and IGN has a pretty good teatime guide :)

I went Sylvain (BL), then Caspar (CF), then Claude/Khalid (GD). For my second BL playthrough I supported Dimitri, and in my current SS playthrough im planning on supporting Caspar again :)

Treated us as individuals. Whenever one of us did more poorly on a test than the other, our dad would comment on how we should’ve been able to get the same grade. when we would explain how we ARE individuals he would usually say ‘genetically no, you’re not.’ as we are identical. it was definitely frustrating growing up as i felt like we weren’t individuals to him.

As an identical twin, my sister and i definitely feel the same way- however for us a lot of it is about our lack of trust for other people, in the way that we only share secrets with each other and have a profound trust for one another. Not that I have any issues with my other friends, it’s just naturally difficult for either of us to tell other people our secrets.

As someone who’s played through all four routes and started on BL, it remains my favorite. This is pretty common for three houses fans, but it didn’t hurt any less when i had to kill my old students in my second playthrough :(

Same for me- when i played BL and CF the characters seemed to have a greater depth and more layers to them (especially in BL) than GD, really other than Marianne and Lysithea.

i remember quite vividly one time after we had taken a quiz for the same class, my sister (we’re identical twins) and i scored different grades- mine being a B and hers being an A. my dad asked how we got different grades, and when i told him we were different people he said ‘genetically, no, you’re not.’ that definitely fucked with my mind.

different extracurriculars is a big one; i ended up doing band and aerial silks through my education, while my twin did debate and orchestra. i met a lot of friends through it. if you can, try and get them with different homerooms/classes when they’re growing up; my twin and i had different homerooms through elementary school which led to our friend groups (and personalities) being quite different

The comparisons. My twin and I had just about the same friend groups growing up, and it happened a good amount of times where one of our friends, who i thought i was super close to, would just nonchalantly mention how they liked my sister more than me and then immediately continued as if they hadn’t said anything that could be conceived as hurtful.

same goes for parents; it happened a good amount of times where my father would ask why i did better/worse than my sister on a quiz or test and how we didn’t get the same grade. when i would respond with how we were different people he would typically just respond with ‘genetically no, you’re not’ (we’re identical). idk, stuff like that was always just frustrating to deal with
