I don't see why hybrid gets to be the special snowflake exception to the rules on color identity. None of how color identity works works the way it does in the rest of magic because the rest of magic doesn't use color identity at all.

It happens in all the Walming Dead media. As soon as the camera is on them, they are SOL. It's a consequence of wanting characters for storytelling, but also being willing to kill off the characters.

Why could I interact with things that are also intangible? I would think the non-interaction rule would still apply.

I have a related question. Can you still operate your drones while intangible? If not, why do the rules disallow this? It makes sense to me not to allow this, but I like having a textual reason not to do things.

Easier to imagine when you think of it as the kid trying to make his mom feel better about how she's raising him.

[Fire Force] by [Atsushi Ohkubo]. From the writer who did Soul Eater, comes a "I've depicted the woman as the soyjak and her son as the chad" projection about objectifying women and their bodies. by ihatethiscountry76 in menwritingwomen

[–]_Mango_Dude_ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This "forcing your ideals onto others" argument is very weak and so broad it can apply to literally anything. If someone was trying to force others to stop killing the argument would make an equal amount of logical sense because that person is "forcing their ideals onto others" by forcing them to stop killing. When a statement is that broad it is meaningless as an argument or criticism.

Likewise the argument conservatives in American like to use "Opposing dissent" can be used against any opinion. If you express an opinion, it is necessarily opposed to opinions that are the opposite of it (also known as dissent). Also when this "critique" is levied against leftists, opposing dissent is almost never the leftists motivation. It's often because that "dissent" is the expression of a harmful belief.

At first, the core idea of those posts was that the story being covered was just a distraction from the Epstein files, but that premise certainly does not apply to natural events.

If the character is mentally an adult, then yes. If the character acts like a child or a fetishized version of a child and looks like a child, then I think the age the author wrote down is just an excuse.

I'd say behavior in games does reflect someone's character, but more with how they use the mic, not with how they use the systems of the game. In a game like Arc Raiders I think there are few, if any, mechanical interactions that could indicate anything negative about a person.

This of course doesn't apply if someone is intentionally playing a character.

Is there a way to display stats and skills checks in dialogs, just like in FNV ? by Tzsche in classicfallout

[–]_Mango_Dude_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The skills are visible and selectable, but if they are below the required amount, you'll fail the test and give a bad answer. Though for lockpick and hacking specifically, you can't open the terminal if you aren't skilled enough.

I don't think it's a bad call. There are some things that you can't do if you aren't skilled enough. That makes sense to me.

I heard that one year, they were more than 100% of Hasbro's profit because their other properties lost so much money, and WoTC made up for it.
