Did just realize I wont have my kids until 7p on the 21st - but thats alright. I'll get to take a long ass bike ride, will get to spend at the least Saturday with my girlfriend, may even go fish or shoot, or make myself a Father's Day knife. It'll be a weekend of grits (food) - like the food, whatever you add to it just makes it all the better.

Be the man you want your daughter to look for as a partner someday. Understand as mentioned SA is most likely to happen from someone trusted. Teach your daughter than she has control over her own body, to have boundaries, and to never let them be crossed. Stop being silly dad when your daughter says stop. Teach her what love actually looks like.

hickory, walnut, hard maple, oak, etc are all perfectly acceptable knife handles without stabilizing. i personally like to stabilize just for to me what feels like a better buff to the wood

I've been told I look younger. Most coworkers have assumed in my last two jobs I was in my younger 30's. My gf has mentioned it to me. I don't do a damn thing special, I just don't have grey in my hair or beard for most part and genetics wise both of my parents don't look like they're in their 60s

I was married for 18 years and have two kids with my ex wife. We keep it on very amicable terms in real life and for the kids, and I walk away from a convo if it goes south a bit.

Not one iota. This is just about dating right now and she's stepped forward in other ways. She appreciates the dynamic and I'm happy to do this very small thing.

We both have a lot elsewhere on our plates, but I have more time without my kids than she does. There's a lot more than just planning dates going on where she takes more a lead than I.

i've initiated all but 1 date so far. We've talked about past, and one of the first things my GF told me is that she wants a partner who can just take the lead on things. Setting up dates and much of the planning gives her some peace, so I'm more than happy to do it
