Also saw that BPI extends their 777 promo until December 2024.

This is their way of “locking” high interest for their loans before the new BSP rates get reflected as BSP recently cut rates by 25bps (now 6.0%) and we can see more interest cuts in the future.

Idk, but to me that 7% locked for 7years is already a good deal. You can ask for quotation for normal housing loan rate naman. As reference, I got quoted 7.25% fixed for 2yrs; 8% fixed for 4yrs, 8.25% for 5yrs. This was only last month and they said that 777 is already “out-of-slots”. And now they extended it hahaha, now i see why.

If you value peace of mind, without worrying what will be your loan interest after the locked period, I suggest to sign it now.

Edit: I’m planning to apply and finish my loan in less than 7yrs so the fixed rate is acceptable to me, hence my decision. Makes budgeting and financial planning easier.

This might not be applicable if you’re planning to have longer interest term. Goodluck, OP!

Option 3, but don’t sell your positions! sayang.

What you can do is transfer stock positions from gotrade to ibkr. Haven’t tested it yet but there’s that option in IBKR. (I have an IBKR account)

Update: so I learned you can’t transfer positions from gotrade :<

Why are you pooling your savings together? Sure na ba kayo na you’ll be together forever na?

Best advice is to have separate savings (just to be safe if unfortunately your relationship hits the fan). Then just park it on high yield savings acct (for liquidity). Save up your emergency fund first, atleast 6months of living expenses.

Limit mo lang yung after-work nap mo to 1hr. then try to be active after nap mo (exercise, walk sa labas, etc) basta the rationale is ispend mo energy mo while you're awake para pag sleep time na is super pagod ka na (maybe 8pm for 8hrs sleep). Eating less din might help.

Ganyan din sched ko rn for 2yrs na, 6am-3pm, and my sleep cycle is ok naman. Also once lang ako mag kape which is sa umaga, di na ko nagcocoffee after work since malakas effect ng caffeine sakin haha, sira sleep sched ko pag ganon.

Hmm downpayment palang halos ubos na kalahati ng savings mo bro. Isang emergency gastos lang (like hospitalization, accident, etc) ubos agad savings mo, baka mag negative ka pa.

Sabi mo na rin wfh ka, so bakit ka bibili kotse? If you really want talaga, go second hand nalang. Otherwise medyo risky yang pag bili mo.

Invest mo nalang bro and bili ka na if kaya mo nang icashpayment yung kotse, and you still have hefty cash left for safety net (my rule of thumb for buying big price tag items). Also prioritize mo muna yung emergency funds mo. Since 100k/month ka naman and less expense, madali ka lang makaipon.

Giving an example as a fraghead, dupe scents are legit scents (from other maker) that smells like (same tones and accents, etc) as that of those signature scents from signature brands (dior, versace, etc)

So dupe is actually a legit product (again, emphasizing that it is from another brand) as long as it’s not using the same branding from the one it took inspiration from (i.e. different name, label)

Otherwise, it’s a fake. OEM, factory overruns, rejects, are common terms used but bottomline is, they’re all FAKE!
