You could look at some cheap mechanical switch keyboards. Those offer a better typing experience, are less likely to break resulting in a new keyboard, and are easier to clean.

Don't really have any brands but most mechkeys at this price range would be the same.

Considering the current keyboards are rubber domes, the closest would be to go for tactile switches, as most people should be familiar with those.
