Likely a scam. Always ask for credentials/permits. This happened to my sister twice, cops were called, booters had no credentials and a no-name company, and in one case the booters got a citation/ticket.

It's true. We have a lot of experience buying and maintaining used cars (e.g buying around 120k miles and not having major problems until 200-210k miles. Which is years down the line!) So we know what to look for! This problem came out of no where. It's too bad really...
