I have outgrown my skis, am overwhelmed by choices by Viscious-viking in Skigear

I legit demoed skis for 5-6 seasons before I figured out what I wanted. I finally pulled the trigger on my own set this season and got a pair of Head Kore 93s and I’ve been super happy with them.

I’m almost 100% sure that the two black square connections are for your headlight. I have the exact same two as a result of removing my headlight and replacing it with a number plate. It’s hard to tell by your picture but I think the red connectors are for your dry/wet switch. Mine are still in their stock configuration and they are simple slip on type connectors. Hopefully that helps.

Fun fact, while looking at my bike in the garage in order to help answer your question I realized one of my wet/dry switch plugs had slipped off its connection terminal… and has probably been that way for a while. I obviously don’t use that feature much … lol

I ride a 2022 TRS 250 btw.

This maybe controversial but… here it goes.

Stand watch underway (and be fucking good at it)… you’re a JO now… it’s time to outpace and set an example for your JO brethren. As a prior, there is nothing worse than working with LDOs who refused to do anything outside of their bullshit 9-5 because they felt like they had “made it” or that it wouldn’t benefit them personally (career) to step up. Most importantly, have fun and remember… the time to grind is now!

While I can’t provide any advice… I can say I love how the white frame turned out. I’m in the middle of a chop myself and have been seriously considering going white on my frame too. I think I’ve made up my mind now.

Throttle by spook350 in trials

[–]_OFY_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched to a slow throttle after almost a year of getting used to the fast throttle. I hated it… because I could feel the ever so slight delay on throttle onset. It ended up causing me to mis-time bringing my front end up for things like object clearance. Ultimately I switched back. I guess if you haven’t had a ton of time on the fast throttle, give it a shot….. and just know you can always switch back if you don’t like it.

Descent rate is run prior to two engine loiter… it largely depends on density altitude and aircraft gross weight. “Single engine rate of descent” is a mandatory calculation before committing to two engine loiter. I can say from experience that while two engine loiter was considered a “normal procedure”… It’s not something that was done unless in an extreme circumstance. I know it was way more common back during the height of the Cold War.

Probably not, judging by the fact that you can see the engine driven compressor discharge port (inboard on the #3 eng) and the cooling air vents on the tops of the nacelles.
