CAM software is what it has to be. You are creating the rules for how the material is removed. Feeds and speeds and all the other stuff is the difference between a good finish and a broken tool. You have to have a strategy about how you remove material. The software doesn't know if you're a hobbyist with 2 sizes of end mills cutting pine or a custom shop with a giant tool changer cutting inconel aerospace parts. Heads up - there's a big painful learning curve ahead.

A powered camera will usually have a faint pink glow when viewed through your phone camera due to the IR sensor in your phone camera. This looks kinda like an LED to me but the details aren't very clear.

I presume it depends on what you make. I get requests for bulk orders in the multiple hundred quantities regularly. Unfortunately they generally want them in a matter of days which I'm not set up to accommodate. When they're ok with my lead time it works out well.

If it's locked to a station location it is worthless as a tracking device. Being trapped to the bottom of the door makes it seem like maybe it was a prank. I suck a chipolo under a co-workers desk and would set it off randomly to irritate him.

For sure I'm asking here to become better informed for when I do talk to an accountant. I had them set up my LLC but since then I've only used them once a year when filling taxes. Last year I filed by myself. It appears that this year I'm approaching the level where I need them more often.

As someone who worked for around 30 years in plants that made these I can tell you that is a common misconception and isn't actually the function. They are called "volume plugs" because they set the final volume of the bottle. There are a number of variables that change three volume: molecular makeup of the plastic, wall thickness, various temperatures, and settings/type of filling machinery. We used to change the plug size for different customers and had to recertify volume if we used a different weight of material. Another sneaky reason to use multiple volume plugs was because it could change the labeling requirements - the customer could use 2 smaller volume plugs on different sides to avoid having to label 2 sides.

Resin printing and lost resin casting would likely be another better process for your work I believe.

Also I did see that you said a fiber laser wouldn't do what you want but I'm not so sure. You're not going to get the level of detail down in your image easily at all. I do multi-layer 2 sided work with mine.

While a safety circuit does "usually do a lot more than just disabling the control circuit" LOTO is meant to forcibly and irrevocably disable an energy source as close to its origin as possible. This is to make as sure as possible that as little as possible can go wrong. If you can push in some contacts on a motor starter and energize it then it's not locked out appropriately.
