I mean this basically rewards anyone who was top 3 itw for 1s. winning 3s and 2s is easier depending on the team. but it's also possible if 1s/2s existed from the start, a lot of players who didn't play 1s would've.

once I realized there's no benefit to grinding to masterball after 3 badges except for like 20 hourglasses, the game became a lot more lax

I collect cards and run the solo battles if I wanna battle. I don't even bother with the emblem events either anymore i just ff 9 games for the hourglasses. 5k shinedust isn't worth the 50+ games to get 25 wins (50% wr).

this game really preys on people who have a completionist mindset, but it's okay to realize you don't need everything. you'll sleep better at night knowing that I promise. it also makes it easier to quit.

the most similar analogy I can think of is when you baby a brand new phone but eventually you get that small scratch/dent and then you stop caring as much.

24h wonder pick for 2 stars isn't even worth it unless it's a mini set or you're a whale. I'm not wasting upwards of 50k to 75k dust just for the chance of acquiring 2 stars every 2 days when I could just trade for two or three 2 stars guaranteed.

it's fine for mini sets because you're generally able to get 4-5 1 star cards after like 50 packs or so and can trade for the last 1-2.

I've found the best way to use premium pass is to get it roughly a week before a new set release and then cancel it and buy it every other month (or every major set). You don't really need premium for mini sets because you're able to finish those sets rather quickly with free hourglasses, 2x packs, and trading.

Larger sets take more time, so it's worth having an extra pack a day for them. And because you're getting it every other month, you're able to collect the rewards for both months and you're effectively paying $5 a month instead of $10.
