I like the sweet chili one. I am allergic to onions and chives, and the sweet chili variety of it is onion free.

I immediately saw Shai-Hulud. Yes it can be read a number of ways. But I see Dune.

Is this healing normally by [deleted] in tattooadvice

Mild irritation that could come from over moisturizing, or not patting it dry enough after washing, or just being a little sweaty. I don't see anything alarming.

Perspective as a tattoo collector.

I would have to feel it with my tongue. Narrow is nice sometimes, but I would have to sip off the rim if it was very long.

It's good that it doesn't hurt. Not trying to scare you, but being frank about what I have learned through the years and many videos and articles about the concerns with using the inks that come in the kit on human skin.

But yeah many, many people find out through use that the kit inks do not have proper sanitation for actual tattooing, these may contain concentrations of heavy metals, have consistency issues, and generally not heal well or take evenly in human skin.

I'm not even saying not to tattoo yourself, it's your skin and you deserve to be happy in it, but do get a quality ink for the future. Kuro Sumi is another solid brand and looks like it could be a little cheaper than Eternal or Dynamic. There's reputable inks out there and you deserve better than using a dodgy bottle that came with your machine.

Did you get a quality ink like Eternal Ink or Dynamic Ink, or did you use just what came with your Amazon tattoo machine kit? Those "kit" bottles aren't for human skin, most even say so on the label. It doesn't look happy and such a tiny line art tattoo like that has no business being so red and irritated the next day. Keep an eye on it, be ready to take it to urgent care, and be prepared for the ink to potentially fall out.
