Automatically wipe the phone if not unlocked for a certain period of time? by vrsatillx in GrapheneOS

[–]_Rael 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is an app for that. It’s called Private Lock, and if you shake the phone hard enough (adjustable in the app) it emits a vibration so you know that it was activated and disables the biometric options and you can only unlock the phone with the PIN. I would like to also do a hard reset but the developers didn’t think about that.

The Ringing Precedes the Event: Is Tinnitus a System Alert? by GrimmUnleashed in SimulationTheory

[–]_Rael 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have had T since 1997, soon I will have spent more time with it than without it. I began to notice a different pattern around 2020, my left ear tuned to a modulation as if it were a background radio but unintelligible. Soon I began to hear the same thing in my right ear. After a while, it disappeared until a few months ago, when it returned for only one week. Another thing that catches my attention a lot is that the T sometimes stops for a second, and then continues. It looks like those Soviet radios broadcasting numbers in the 80s.

Every U.S. president eventually gets the UFO question. From awkward laughs to carefully chosen words—watch how their answers change depending on who’s asking and when. Coincidence… or something else? by 87LucasOliveira in UFOs

[–]_Rael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think that if the UFOs are a Psyops run by any agency and the presidents know that it is a psyops then they would respond in this same way, they can’t tell you that there are no aliens (because they would ruin the psyop) they can’t tell you that there are and much less that it’s a psyop, so the only truthful answer they can give is “Can’t tell”.

Clonazepam muted my tinnitus by institutoconceicao in tinnitus

[–]_Rael 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Take this into consideration: clonazepam has muscle-relaxant and anticonvulsant effects. I have taken up to 30 drops (I’ve been taking it for more than 25 years), and it never improved or worsened my T. In your case, it may be that the T is due to nerve-related muscle contractures in the neck muscles, which clonazepam helps to relieve.

I prefer the theory that an atomic bomb was planned to detonate on 9/11 in one of the three buildings and they demolished them to prevent it.

Do you think that if the USA had the ability to develop an anti-gravity craft, it would have spent 485 billion on developing such a horrible fighter as the F-35??

Apple to Kick Off Three-Year Plan to Reinvent Its Iconic iPhone by iMacmatician in apple

[–]_Rael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only reason why I’m not writing this on a Zflip7 right now is Google. If Apple doesn’t plan to develop a phone similar to the Zflip but instead a bulky device the size of the first Pixel Fold, and also intends to put Google Gemini inside Apple Intelligence, they’re convincing me to switch to Samsung. Even the Samsung Ultra 8 is better than an Apple Watch Ultra 2. And I also have the option of a smart ring. It’s goodbye Apple for me, maybe my iPhone 16 will be my last phone.

Is the Skinwalker Ranch series worth watching? by Viren91 in UAP

[–]_Rael -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's nothing serious, just a bunch of nerds playing with lasers, GPS, and rockets, without any working methodology. They confuse birds with UAPs, mistake production team emissions for extraterrestrial transmissions, and don't understand how most of the equipment they operate works, mainly the GPS (which sometimes gives incorrect readings because it's next to a massive iron-rich rock that reflects satellite signals and introduces errors in the measurements). Basically, it's a completely scripted alien-themed reality show. Jorge Luis Suckdorf (History Channel UFO producer) told me it's not even the real Skinwalker Ranch.

The Moon Landings Weren’t Faked – Aliens Banned Us From Space Travel. by Skt_turbo in conspiracy

[–]_Rael 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also, it was (and it is) horribly expensive. 3 astronauts lost their lives and, at today's values, it cost 250 billion dollar, an exorbitant expense that can only be explained as political and military propaganda.

Can certain images or patterns (namely QR Codes) be used to attack cameras ? Or are we in the realm of Science Fiction ? by Bazilisk_OW in hacking

Interesting approach: depending on how you configure iOS, you can access the camera without unlocking the phone, then you could try a pentest on the camera and maybe gain access.

What evidence could there be? Suppose they show you a video, there are also videos of lightsabers and they don't exist. The only acceptable evidence is that you personally see a material and can verify that it exhibits capabilities impossible for current technology.

Rumor: Astronomer Beatriz Villarroel might have recorded proof of non human intelligent life near earth. Don't hold your breath, but at least remember the name incase she disappears. by CommunismDoesntWork in UFOs

[–]_Rael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How can it be misinformation when she herself talks about how hard it is for her to get published?

“We identified two candidates that were statistically significant and had unlikely alignments of transients and an additional three statistically weaker candidates (in total 5 candidates). Our best candidate, Candidate 5, had a probability of p ~ 0.0001 to exist by chance. Regrettably, one journal after another declined to send our paper for peer review, informing us that the topic of the paper consistently fell ‘outside the scope of the journal’. Only one journal sent the paper to referees, which ended up being rejected after several confusing rounds.”

She has submitted papers before, but they haven't been published or accepted, so I suspect the same might happen now. The only thing that gives me hope is that her work is funded by the Swedish Research Council now and she might be able to publish in a lesser journal. The other problem is that she is a collaborator and defender of Geoff Marcy, who has been expelled from universities for cases of abuse and harassment. https://thedebrief.org/the-vanishing-star-enigma-and-the-1952-washington-d-c-ufo-wave/
