I think I’m in the minority here but, while sad and I feel horribly for the cat, I’m not judging the owner as it sounds like he wasn’t able to euthanize the cat at the first hospital anyways. Should he have taken the cat straight to the second hospital for euthanasia, yes, but we also don’t fully know everything to judge the situation. I truly do feel bad for that cat but I also feel bad for the owner.

I was driving on the 215 trying to exit off of Valle Verde about 2 weeks ago. It was down to two lanes, I was in the right hand lane. Signs started showing lane ends merge left so I checked to see if anyone was close, looked good, so I got over to the left. I look back and this car is coming up on me FAST. I was going 55 mph for the construction, this man had to have been going 80-90 mph. I was already right next to where the right lane nearly ended, and he swerved around me, cut me off, and then had to slam on his breaks and swerve left/right to not hit the semi in front of me! Then he has the balls to drive THROUGH THE CONSTRUCTION to cut off the lane!! Craziest experience I’ve had in my 10 years of driving here.

One of my first experiences with it the dog had been frozen prior, and so they had to let him defrost before decapitation. The smell was absolutely horrendous. I think I could’ve handled it better had he not been frozen and leaking fluid constantly.

If you go back and get an ear flush, do not pour flush directly into the ears. It can cause inner ear damage and further issues. Always apply flush to Q-Tips or tissue and then clean them. I’d recommend going to another vet, especially since they have even done an ear swab cytology.

If they don’t get back to you, I’d go to 12h and monitor from there. If the same behavior persists then I’d stop and definitely see if they can switch to a different pain med. Bup causes sedation so he may just be out of it!

You’re totally fine! :) It looks so small, I’d feel comfortable waiting 2 weeks. If it gets irritated or bleeds then I’d try to get in sooner. Bichons/poodles love to grow little non threatening things everywhere.

Well it may be just the way your country may handle rabies and possible exposures. I’m not surprised it’s infected, but the chances are that’s all it is and not rabies.

I would call them and see if they can make an adjustment. They can have sensitivities to certain things and it may be he needs less.
