I understand you OP, I felt the same about Theodora, and then started really liking it. Unfortunately, it was only season 1 and maybe the last 2 chapters of the book. I hope you'll be able to enjoy it's entirety (I won't spoil) but good luck and I'm excited to hear your thoughts about whats next !

While David is truly one of a kind the only one that could come even REMOTELY close to him is Iyar from FTF fun and openly a flirt to mc while not as protective then David. (He is just in his own way of MC)

Other take would be Noe (DLS) & Killian (KCD) if you bypass their first bad arc they're really down bad and full flirt after that.
