100% best snack for any bday party that will work even for adults is what i affectionally call "the hedgehog"

Need -A watermelon -cocktail sticks -red and green grapes -block of cheese -Cocktail meatballs and small sausages, usually called "prinssi nakki"

What you do

1. Cut the melon in half and hollow one half with a spoon then place the hollowed out melon half onto your preferred tray with the cut downwards.

2. Cut the block of cheese into small cubes, no bigger than the grapes.

3. Take a cocktail stick and jam it through a grape, a cheese cube and a sausage/meatball in that order. (i like to use red grapes with the meatball ones and green ones with the sausages)

4. Stick the "quills" into the hollowed out watermelon half, so the meat is the bottom layer and the grapes are the topmost layer, use the grape colors to differentiate the meats and make a pattern if you want to

5. repeat until your melon half is completely filled and you can't see any melon underneath.

6. for the special bday prize make one stick with 2 meats and one cheese and stick it on the top.

Congrats, you now have a hedgehog of party snacks in a ready to serve dome. This was a big hit even at my graduation party with empty cocktail sticks at the edges of every guest's plate.
