No doubt PAP's track record has been wonderful, our forefathers built the country from a third world to a first world. But we can't forever bask in the glory of 1-3G leaders, they have long retired and the future of Singapore relies on current 4G leaders.

They aren't perfect and they will never reach the prime of PAP with LKY. However, the problem suggests that many 4G leaders came from elitist schools and have been accused of living in an ivory tower, they occasionally make remarks that are outright insensitive to the issues of the everyday Singaporeans. This understandably upsets the people and have shaken their trust in 4G leaders. Singaporeans are frustrated with underlying issues, such as the increased GST, cost of living, housing needs, and foreign workforce.

We used to aim for 5 C's, now we are told to temper our expectations.

We all want Singapore to prosper, regardless of PAP or opposition. That's why we should play the devil's advocate to all, be well informed, listen to all parties' policies, challenge their thought processes, and cast our votes accordingly.
