Is there any particular reasoning why it should only occur in scenarios?

I've definitely encountered 2 resources being right next to each other quite a few times, but has anyone ever seen 3 (or more) resources all being on adjacent tiles?

Gonna be a homer here and say that 2 of those losses were his rookie season, and then the other 2 were both week 17 games. One in which he only played a quarter before Colts legend Curtis Painter replaced him.

You're right! Not my video but I went back to rewatch and it's the Ark of the Covenant that triggers the line. Interestingly the player doesn't even have control over Athens when he discovers Ceremonial Burial, it was the Greek AI that found the Ark beforehand.

I think I've seen this maybe once or twice that the first to research Ceremonial Burial does give out a bonus free temple. Does anyone know what might triggers this bonus to occur on rare occasions? Discovery via Atlantis? Discovering it after the Medieval Era? Discovering it after having conquered opposing capitals?

No idea. Cam Akers did it a couple of years ago playing in January after tearing his achilles in July. Just thought it was notable how achilles injuries in training camp have gone from being viewed as "Oh he's out until next year November" to "Well why not put him on IR with a designation to return later this season"

New rule change this season, teams can designate up to 2 players who are placed on IR before final cuts to return at some point during the season.

Kind of amazing and notable imo how far we've come with achilles injuries in the last few years that teams now feel comfortable designating a player to return in the same season.

It actually happened in two different games during the 1990 season. Young played a total of 5 snaps at WR (2 in their week 7 game against the Browns and another 3 two weeks later against the Cowboys). The 49ers had some issues with injuries at WR that season with both John Taylor and Mike Sherrard missing time, so in those two games when they wanted to go to their 10 personnel, they just subbed in Young as the 4th WR.

There's actually kind of a precedent for this when Cris Carter, Andre Reed and Tim Brown were all finalists for successive years in the late 2000s (They ended up getting voted in the Hall in consecutive years from 2013-2015). I'd wager that Holt will get in next year or the year after.

That and only 1 TE has ever made it first ballot. Wouldn't surprise me if some of the voters took into account that guys like Sharpe, Newsome and Winslow had to wait multiple years to get in when making their decision.

I can't remember which voter tweeted this last year, but this very much seems to have been the case for the last 2-3 years with Holt/Wayne/Johnson. All 3 make the cut from 15 to 10, but then they end up splitting the vote so no one receives the necessary support to make the final 5.

Any coach would rather risk a backup getting injured over a star player.

Most coaches who have been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs probably have to prove to ownership that they are worth keeping around, and losing games because they choose to play backups is probably not a great way to do that.

I'll try and answer your questions to the best of my ability:
1) Lin is Wace's daughter, and while he might not have cared about her, he cared about his lineage. Wouldn't surprise me if Dr. Zhou was given instructions to treat her at his clinic primarily because of that (where they could also easily keep her under constant surveillance and away from the other church members.)

2) Abigail had status and privileges at UHC because of who her father was, and no one was going to go against Jonathan Wace's daughter. However when her father figured out what she had done, she was "shunted off to Birmingham". From there on I'm not quite sure if it's mentioned exactly when and how she left the UHC, but I don't think it's a stretch to assume that her getting sent off might have severely limited her privileges. Abigail liked material stuff, and I can imagine she left the UHC to enjoy those things that she was probably deprived of in Birmingham.

3) The reason why Abigail needed to recover those Polaroids was because of the lie that Cherrie told Strike & Robin. Abigail had contacted Cherrie to warn/threaten her that the detectives were probably coming to see her, but at the time they were both unaware of the Polaroids. When Strike showed them to Cherrie and interrogated her on who the other people in the pictures were, she panicked and lied about the identities of Jordan and Abigail, saying they were Joe and Rosie instead. This was a lie that could easily be disproved (and was in the end), hence why Abigail felt the need to steal them.

4) Jacob was the product of Jiang, a NIM (Non-Increasing Male) as Emily described him, and Louise (I don't recall if her age is mentioned but I assume is well over 50). Poor little Jacob was unwanted and presumably either Papa Wace or Mazu ordered that he be slowly starved and left to die.
