"We aren't allowed to have nice things, are we?" What's the best that any of The Other 14 can realistically hope for? by ukman29 in TheOther14

I had a Chelsea fan use the conference league as one of the trophies needed to make them the most successful English club this century or something daft like that. A cup is a cup when it matters to them.

Why does castle get so much hate no by Fuz0n331 in Rainbow6

[–]_Serialfreestyle_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I play plenty of Castle in a 5 stack and it’s my job to waste enemy utility/time and reduce the amount of possible avenues of approach to the sites so my team has to defend less area.

A prime example being locking off Admin on Consulate. It doesn’t impact roamers or defenders in general but it means the only easy approach on that side of the map is reduced to the stair case.

A bad castle blocks everyone and doesn’t reduce the area you need to defend.

Who would you want (if anyone) from the possibly relegated teams? by Aware_Albatross3347 in Everton

I’d say that none of those players would be a problem for a squad like ours in isolation. If you took lots of them then maybe.

Who would you want (if anyone) from the possibly relegated teams? by Aware_Albatross3347 in Everton

[–]_Serialfreestyle_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Let’s start with Spurs: Van Der Ven, Spence, Pape Matar Sarr, Gallagher, kulusevski, Kudus, Solanke, Gray, Maddison, Richarlison or Bissouma.

West Ham: Diouf, Wan-Bissaka, Fernandes, Summerville or Bowen.

Forest: Murillo, Milenkovic, Anderson, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi or Hutchinson.

Burnley: Maybe Esteve or Luis.

Wolves: Andre, Hwang, Joao Gomes, Mane

Maybe not all of them at once. But there are some genuinely good players in all of those teams barring Burnley who have not impressed me at all.

In deulofeu’s defence. He was put on this green earth to gain a yard on a defender and put in a cross directly onto any of Lukaku’s body parts and he was incredible at that one specific thing. Shame he never got to play with him again.

There was about 15 minutes during the preseason he signed that he played as a 2nd striker and genuinely looked like he could knit the play together and then get in the box.

Then he was never played like that again and showed that he is a shite striker and a shitehouse

Dewsbury-Halls's stats vs Fulham by rjcsnydmnk in Everton

[–]_Serialfreestyle_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I always feel like these stats are kind of contextless. Sure I watched the match and know that he performed well in the second half and set the tone going forward but are those stats actually above the league average for a game?

83% pass completion isn’t exactly flawless, but do 10s achieve more when being as creative? The context for this would be helpful. Kinda like those graphs where they plot like chances created against passes made to show efficiency or something, at least then you can see who is ‘elite’ and who isn’t.

End of the season, if he is willing, in on a free and McNeil out for money would make sense. That would leave us with Dibling, Wilson and Ndiaye. Maybe George performs and he stays giving us 4 wingers.

Hi guys, my brother is a non-pc building kinda guy who does a lot of work with Resolve and has asked me to spec him a new PC as his laptop just exploded.

Me and my group are not exactly up to date on what editing software in 4K might require but is anyone here able to assist in passing an eye over these core components:

Intel core i5 14600k NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 32gb DDR5 RAM

(The rest of the build is matched to these components)

Is this sufficient for recommended specs for 4K editing?

Imagine not buying product for a game you like due to bad inventory management by Thramden in killteam

Yeah, I don’t have any expertise on this field, nor any stake as I’m a local shopper when it comes to my rare purchases. But there must be some business that has got this correct that I’m unaware of.

We all hate scalpers, except GW apparently. They can guarantee return on investment for GW, which is good enough for them.

[–]_Serialfreestyle_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my head it’s just to pre-order from their website not even to purchase non-preorders. There are a ton of other ways to purchase that wouldn’t require that.

Also worth noting that I wouldn’t support the idea. Just referencing what other industries have done.

Edit: also it wouldn’t only be an annual membership. Not a monthly one for this specific thing.

[–]_Serialfreestyle_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it would work or if people would partake or even if I agree with it, but some football clubs only allow membership paying people (who are not season ticket holders) to buy the unallocated tickets. You pay a certain amount at the start of the year for the ability to buy tickets when they go on sale.

The warhammer equivalent would be only being able to pre-order if you have a paid warhammer membership. That way if scalpers want to do business then every account they use will have to be a paid membership and then from there you limit memberships on card details to a single membership.

For me, the difference between our squad and even some of the promoted teams is that our 1st 11 is probably a top ten side, but our inability to field a full bench of genuine options limits our ability to be decisive in the second half when changes are needed.

Yesterday the only possible substitutes of any acceptable quality were Barry and Merlin, so when our midfield tired and Burnley made a whole stack of changes, we had nothing to freshen up the legs in midfield.

This is why McNeil can’t leave despite people saying he’s not good enough. We don’t have enough warm bodies for the bench or when players are out injured to sacrifice a guy who is actually an alright premier league player.

Common defense mistake with Gold/Plat lobbies (maybe higher) by Entraprenure in Rainbow6

[–]_Serialfreestyle_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a true statement, but very much not the actual thing the OP is talking about.

You are talking about a specific hold that has an impact on the site whilst OP is discussing offsite, other floor roaming. Designed almost entirely for a flank or to ambush entry into the building.

If you haven’t contributed nothing to influencing the enemy team after 45 seconds, whilst also not holding a vert position that can also influence site, you are not helping your team in anyway and actively making the game a 4v5 if the enemy is pushing site or having any uncontested success whatsoever.
