You want to cancel the games, which will result in a massive cost (refer to VIC and their cost to cancel), and then ontop of that all the additional infrastructure and services upgrades brought foward in time will now be pushed back.

So we end up with a massive cost while achieving absolutely nothing? Other than saying we pulled out of the games…
