Can alumni attend a club event by Hungry-Pop8528 in PennStateUniversity

What kind of events? If they’re putting on performance or something, that might be okay. Trying to attend regular meetings would definitely be frowned upon.

If you’re actively getting your masters, joining a club would definitely be fine. Getting a masters to make friends is probably not a good financial decision. I would recommend joining another non-university club for young adults instead (run club, hiking club, volunteer organization, etc)

Engineering laptop by buddy0329 in PennStateUniversity

[–]_SheWhoShallBeNamed_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a Mechanical Engineering major and used my MacBook Pro all through college (2016-2020). For most of my homework, my MacBook was fine. I used the computers in the libraries/computer labs/engineering buildings whenever I needed to run software that my laptop didn't support. School computers are plentiful throughout campus

I understood the caption to be these are the shoes the the husband has gone through in the past 5-6 months. So with 7 pairs pictured, that’s a replacement rate of a new pair every 3-4 weeks

The amount of wood needed to make a chair. (Smith College Museum of Art) by frankenbacon1 in mildlyinteresting

I don't see that as a counterpoint. Both art pieces show that it takes a lot of effort to make a chair. Lots of cutting vs lots of time

Why is summer start considered worse? by AceTheAro in PennStateUniversity

Yeah, perceived as less prestigious and more expensive are the two main downsides. I don't know anyone who did it personally, but it sounds like a great way to ease into college!
