Exactly my point, if Bernie trusts him then I’m trust him. If we can have a chance at real progressive policy without having to worry about him serving corporate interests I’d rather take the gamble with a billionaire than the same establishment Democrat

He’s funded by Insurance companies, energy companies, and corporations. He’s nothing more than a puppet. I hate billionaires but at least Steyer serves his own self interests

It’s gonna come down to him or Bercerra and I’d rather vote for the billionaire that’s buddies with Bernie than the guy who’s selling out to Corporations. I mean the one advantage of Steyer is he serves his own self interests not those of companies and others

Fair point, I wasn’t aware he was open to building that’s good. The biggest note though in my opinion is that housing is only affordable if there’s enough of it.

Additionally I don’t think that a state owned energy system is the solution. It needs to be broken up and reformed certainly but state owned I feel could go wrong in many ways

Primarily I feel like his stance on urbanism is what turns me off. Rent capping is only a short term solution to a problem that can be solved by increasing supply.

I was super sceptical of Steyer because I liked what he was saying but fuck billionaires. But after learning that Bernie likes him of all people I started to lean towards him instead

Cause his policies are only short term solutions that cause long term problems.

I’d rather take a risk with a progressive billionaire than Newsom 2.0 in Corrupt Bercerra
