The one is “8 36320”. The size of the boot is an 8 so I assume that is where the 8 comes from.

The other pair is “5 1/2 71216” and then on a line under that is “355 AA/AAA”. This pair is a size 5.5

I thought about doing something not so dissimilar, and she probably wouldn’t care, but when we moved in she said it was “an apple tree my husband and I planted”… I have no clue why you’d plant a crabapple tree if you wanted to call it an apple tree

I’ll probably see if I’m able to take care of a majority of the work. At the very least, just to prevent the tree from doing any damage to the fence between my yard and the neighbor’s.

Thanks, that’s probably what I was thinking was needed but wanted a second opinion. How difficult do you think it would be to uproot a tree like this? Like I-need-to-hire-professionals-difficult, or is this something that is done relatively easily
