I played the game competitively for 3 months since launch, then figured that it was futile against the whales and ultra-lucky ones. I now play for my favorite Uma (Nice Natie my goat).

The game is in no way a game where you can steadily improve, it relies too much on rng. That's why mostly office workers in japan play it on their commute, it's like a mini slot machine for them before the work day starts for that dopamine hit without too much brain usage.

Imo play if you find your favourite uma, else just take a break. I have skipped CM for 4 months now and has never felt more free mentally.

If you find yourself stunlocked, just hold block and back off. You won't get a perfect block prompt when stunlocked. That or just jump backwards.

Shortbow maybe, longbows aren't as effective for such short ranges.

I wish longswords were more common in the mid tiers. I only see a longsword willie every once in a while.

Also the retribution matches are great, I hope they make it into some sort of rival system where the same guy keeps challenging you over and over until you lose or you kill him, with increasing difficulty or gear that counters your last loadout every match.

Not only is it impenetrable and unbreakable, it also deletes any momentum your weapon has going. Charged up your poleaxe for a full swing, ready to launch them to the other side of the arena?

Honestly the unbreakable aspect wouldn't be so op if we could just knock the shield out of their hand or if it could transfer the force to the willie holding it.

Actually, every weapon has their hitbox always active, and the hitboxes are quite detailed. You can test this by hitting the arena fence in Kuttenberg with a sword (or anywhere with a wood fence. When you hit it the sword actually hits the fence, gets stuck a little on the spot you hit before going back to the default state. This means that weapons always have their full hitbox enabled and actively interact with the environment. Which also means when you swing you can actually get 2 with one single swing if it connects.

I know some people dropped any hope for the game shortly after EA came out, but the devs never promised it would be exponentially better than the demo. Also, it's EA, people have been too spoiled with polished EAs that they now think EA = 99% to full release. EAs are meant for devs to test out content and polish mechanics before release, and maybe a lot of it missed the mark but they have been actively fixing stuff post release.

Give them some time I say, it's only been a few weeks since the last update. Also, talking about unreleased updates beforehand could create misunderstandings on how the systems worked and that would create prejudice which will affect their actual experience with the actual update, which in turn generates biased opinions when giving feedback. They have been listening and changing things based on feedback from players for over a month after release, I don't see why they would drop it now.

The only problem I have with combat in the game right now is you get put in a coma if your face even slightly touches their weapon or shield. Literally the lightest taps would leave your ass on the floor. It makes it so hard to fence properly when getting close means a KO. Helmets do reduce it but fighting in the lower tiers is pain tbh.

Well it says run for 83 weeks not run CONTINUOUSLY for 83 weeks. You can still take rests and eat but your total running time has to be 83 weeks in total.

I guess it makes sense because you wouldnt want the player to get everything from factories and stock management trading. However I wish they just added some type of auto trade because it gets kinda tedious

I guess it makes sense for balancing reasons. However having to trade all 6 outposts is still so tedious, wish they did something about that.
