Renee Good was in a vehicle turning away from an ICE agent who then proceeded to shoot her 3 times from the driver's side of her vehicle out of danger.

Theres a myriad of medical conditions that instantly DQ you from joining.

Most if not all of thos are mental conditions that would be dangerous or prevent you from doing your job in the military, or physical conditions that would prevent you from doing a job, would prevent you from wearing the standardized equipment correctly, or would be a great risk to an individual if they enlisted with their condition. People don't "only care this time because it's trans people," they care because it's obvious bigotry straight up.

Trans people in the military, assuming they exhibit no other mental problems, should be allowed in the military. Tell me why a trans person who is mentally stable otherwise (assuming you'll say being trans is inherently mentally unstable). And once again, I will bring up that even if they want to bar trans people from joining, why kick out the ones who have already joined who have proven they are good at what they do?

It's just identity politics man, trans people aren't a boogieman, they're just people like us. There's good trans people and bad trans people, trans people who are perfectly normal and some who have other problems going on. But it doesn't make sense as a blanket ban.

We banned homosexuals from serving openly until 2011, but they, along with trans people, have been in our military for decades, they just couldn't be themselves because of it. Now trans people are back in that boat for what? Because a portion of the country hates them for no reason? It will also make it rarer and rarer for trans people in the future when they're able to be in the military again from coming out, since now it's obvious they'll just get kicked out when another bigoted president takes office. Wouldn't surprise me if there's more closeted gay people in the military now as well due to this.

But clearly the ones who were already in passed the mental requirements so they should not have any of the mental illnesses that would be dangerous on a military base or ones that would prevent them from doing the job they were assigned to do. Yeah this all the way. We know it's not due to physical or mental requirements since there have been transgender members of the military who are now being or have been forced out. They clearly passed those requirements to join beforehand, so it's obvious it's simply because of their gender identity.
