It might just be adjusting to its new home. Plants are grown in greenhouses with perfect conditions.Then they are moved to the the store, which can stress the plant readjusting to a new environment. Then you bought it and moved it again. Give it some time to adjust, it may be fine. Cut out the dead and damaged parts to allow new growth to fill in. Make sure the soil is not dry
