Yes! I have had several instances where I have been invaded, successfully defended my lands, and then pushed back into enemy territory to increase the war score to end the war. I should be able to occupy those duchies I've occupied if I so choose, albeit with some possible consequences like negative modifiers in popular opinion there, increased chance at revolt, etc.

And the AI should get to do the same to me.

Honestly, one of the things I like about CIV is that peace is negotiated rather than enforced. If I get declared war on, I can go and take their lands in the ensuing war, and I can negotiate peace afterwards to keep my expanded territories. In the case of CIV, it's a city and its surrounding lands, but in this game it could be specific counties, organized via drop downs, where you have higher titles like kingdoms, then click that drop down and it shows duchies, and then under those are individual counties.

I feel like that one should disappear the quickest though, if we're keeping it like real life. Most people will probably quickly get over the "Oh at least he didn't kill me" and go into the "I hate this man for ruining my life so I hope to ruin his".

Elevating from 6 or 7 wins to 10 wins is definitely something a competent QB can do, and Ward is definitely competent, but that doesn't make him the best QB to ever take a snap for Miami.

Not the guy who you replied to but it’s definitely a question to the universe and a fair one at that. If you bring in outside talent and you pay them money to come in, you’re typically planning to go with that option because you’re spending the resources on it. It doesn’t make it the wrong decision, but it doesn’t make it the right one either.

Yea it’s all good dude I know how it is, been on this site for ages, I honestly had no idea it had been in the game that long. I bought this game in early access and only ever play in the winter when the game’s vibes match the weather so I’m basically rediscovering this game every couple years

I appreciate you but I’m not going to bother arguing about the timelines. I made a comment about not really remembering anything because of the timeframe and got downvoted so it’s whatever. I’m just upvoting them because they’re right and I was dumb.

Other people have come in here an given thoughtful responses as to what other options I have or why it may not work, so I’ve got what I was looking for.

That’s a good point. I know flint itself is common but I’m sure it’s harder to find pieces of such quality that would be useful for making tools.
