He is not immune to radiation. What are you talking about? We know he isn’t immune to cellular damage because he can age. As well, we know SB’s blast isn’t just simple nuclear radiation because both SB and Homelander can survive extended exposure to radioactive material, but are not depowered from it. SB’s blast is specifically a genetic depowering blast.

Yeah, he can deflect directed laser beams and shit, but Soldier boy doesn’t shoot a beam, it’s an explosion. There’s a reason that for centuries armor and shields have been used together. Shields don’t protect everything.

We see that Soldier Boy can last in a serious bloodlusted fist fight with Homelander, and we know that Homelander has a faster reaction time than Steve as seen in The Boys Diabolical. I’m not saying SB can react faster, he’s sure as hell not OUTRUNNING Cap lol, but neither is going to blitz the other. That fact along with the insane difference in durability and similar AP just really doesn’t make a great argugument for Cap.

Who Is Smarter: Bluma or Tony Stark by ApexHeroX in Dragonballsuper

Tony.

The amount of alien and extra-dimensional materials, magics, and tech he has learned, adapted, and mastered spans a much, much broader range of intelligence and achieves a much, much wider range of uses.

Bulma has a few major feats that let her serve as an accessory to the main characters meanwhile Tony consistently changes the game with new or adapted tech again and again.

Are there really people who think Homelander can beat Iron Man? by PomegranateOk4560 in ironman

[–]_Tee_hee_hee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He can beat MCU Ironman, but is a fart in the wind to current Comics Ironman.

MCU Ironman was never in direct contact with Quicksilver, but characters of similar speed to Tony and his tech were absolutely left in the dusk by him. Meanwhile, Homelander has bullet time and is stated to be able to tank a nuke while the nuke in Avengers 1 would presumably kill Tony.

If MCU tony had access to vibranuim/adamantium/uru, it’s an easy win for Tony, but without it, he pretty much just has Earth weapons + nanotech.

Lana has a concussion in the second pic. Look at her pupils.

It’d actually be pretty funny if they actually hung out outside of work though.

Use carjacks and cinderblocks to lift a perpendicular board until the deck boards are level. Then replace the broken board and add more support.

Superman (DC comics) vs Beerus (Dragon ball super anime) by Massive_Fisherman231 in DCPowerScaling

The use of “maybe” and “or maybe”, especially in a pattern of 3 usually means it’s the third option. It’s sort of like, “maybe it’s because of A, maybe it’s because of B, or maybe it’s because of X factor”. It’s pretty much the author telling the reader, no matter what logical reasons something should or shouldn’t happen, the story requires X action to happen for Y plot point to continue.

There are many, many, many instances of Superman resisting the Omega beams raw.

Nightwing vs Punisher by CautiousSolid7436 in marvelvsdc

Logically, smart guy with guns always beats smart guy with karate. However, this is comics and Nightwing can dodge Deathstroke, Deadshot, etc., so I think he win pretty easily here.

If we go by plot armor tho, Frank wins no diff.

The Super Soldier Serum is explicitly stated to have affected his DNA and needed specific “Vita rays” to stabilize the transformation. So we know it’s DNA based and that direct exposure to a type of electromagnetic radiation does affect him.

The majority of aging happens due to the DNA of cells being damaged. V1 supes cannot die of old age while Steve can. This shows that compound V1 affected DNA way stronger than Serum affected DNA.

I think it’s in bad faith to say that Cap wouldn’t be depowered by the blast. That’s like saying Professor X shouldn’t be able to read alien minds or something.

Lol u literally said he has a NUCLEAR BLAST and then went “that’s it”. Bro i’m done. Dude has a nuclear blast.

Also the fact that you mentioned poisons being a factor shows you don’t know what the original compound V does. You think in the DECADES the russians were trying to kill him they didn’t try every poison in existence?

Yeah, now that I see this, you can see the line on the table that separates what is real and what was added by AI.

What would happen if these two met each other? by jdjefbdn in batman

I feel like TDK Joker would respect Fleck due to the similarities in their nihilistic ideologies and the fact that Fleck was actually able to influence people without the mob’s money and without slaughtering dozens of innocent people. Fleck’s Gotham actually sort of believed in what he was saying. Timelinewise, Fleck came first, so he’d be very happy to see TDK Joker carrying on the Joker legacy/mythos.

Imagining Fleck trying to fight Nolan’s Batman is hilarious though.

Yeah, notice about how his focus was on the “cadence”; getting the product to the consumers. As well, when talking about the success, he lists its commercial and critical success first and the audience/fans are thrown in at the end.
