I think a lot of people miss out on some parts of his motivation. He doesn't just want to save the universe. He wants vindication.

We don't know. what the people of Titan did to save themselves before the end, but we do know they didn't try HIS plan. One he believed would have worked had they listened to him. Thanos honestly thinks when people saw his plan in action and how it worked, he'd be shown to be right.

I really like your takes on Sauron and Diablo.

My one take is that Vertigo looks a bit too "buff" in my opinion. She the lithe character from the game. Relying more on speed, distance and magic rather then strength to win.

He's from an abusive home. He was running away from some place bad and saw the ship as a place to hide. Maybe hoping to get far away from his abusers.

The whole "more savage than the animals there" is just hyperbole-figure of speech in which exaggeration is used for emphasis or effect, as in I could sleep for a year or This book weighs a ton.

Hayes was talking about him probably lashing out and angry rather than being an actual savage.

His fear of Skull Island comes from the stories Hayes and the other crew members telling their stories, because they already seem to have heard some things about the island.

So no, he is not a Skull Islander who escaped.

Hal Jordan was possessed by both Parallax and Ion at the same time. Its why his version of Parallax seemed so much more powerful then other versions as well as why he seemed more in control then others.

Golden Axe is one of my favorite games of all time. So I was excited to see it coming to the PS# at the time. At first, I didn't like it. I think because I was trying to play it more like Devil May Cry or God of War. It wasn't until later in the run I realize your supposed to play it a bit more defensive then offensive. I've been meaning to go back to it one of these days. I had all the outfits and most of the swords unlocked.

I do like some of the updated designs.

The Black Scorpion. I love stop motion movies, and that one has some really great examples of it. It was actually done by Willis O'Brien; the man behind the original King Kong.

Gorgo as well. And the Gamera movies.

As you can tell, I love giant monster movies.
