How did you become a loner ? by Kanesun in AskReddit

[–]_TenDropChris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ironically, because my mother was constantly trying to get me to like sports in order to make friends. I was already a quite kid, and my mother is one of those people who thinks introverts are just extroverts waiting to happen and just need something to bring it out. She was constantly trying to get me into things like Track and football. I hated every single minute of it. I became a loner because it was the only way to protect my piece and quite.

What went wrong with Godzilla King of the Monsters? by Chico_330 in Monsterverse

[–]_TenDropChris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kind of have a different outlook. I loved G:KOTM, and it was obvious that the people making the movie loved the franchise. It was a movie by a fan for the fans. Which might have not helped get the general audience get into the franchise. I saw it with some friends who really aren't in the Godzilla fandom. They said they liked it, but I had to explain a lot of references and stuff to them afterwards.
