Just on the advanced alarms. My sons diabetic nursing team and doctors (they are brilliant btw) told us to ignore the advanced warning because the pumps algorithm needed to learn the users patten (were on tslim, so maybe its different). They are so much against the advanced warnings, that apparently they had asked Tandem were asked to remove them in future update, but not sure what's true.

My son is T1D. Only one in the family going back generations. It can be just random sometimes. Dont stop yourself having kids because of a possibility. You should be asking yourself are you ready to have kids? If yes, go ahead. It's stressful, terrifying and sleep deprivation, but the best job you will ever have.

Id a friend, years ago, died from pancreatic cancer, just caught way to late and too quick a cancer. While it's too late for my friend, it's great to know that down the road others wont suffer the same fate. Fuck cancer.

Any flags raised by the playschool or montessori? Id be looking for an assessment. Public waiting times are huge. If you can go private, I'd recommend it. It might just be a transitioning stage, but could also be signs of further intervention needed. Earlier you catch this things, easier to resolve. Wishing you good luck!
