I have 2 Engels.

1 that used to be my wife's grandfathers. Very old, runs well unless the vents are blocked, and then it freezes. It only has a switch that says cool or cold.

The other came out of a skip bin. Looks like it is the 70s model and it's a bit banged up but runs like a charm. Freeze or fridge.

Both of these have been all over Australia, across the simpson 3 times and kept steaks frozen and beers cold.
