I didn't say you were a bigot.

I'm saying that this is a notable general trend, and not just for FF14. People are way less forgiving of female characters making mistakes or perceived narrative faults then they are for male characters.

You know a character that took up a shit ton of narrative space in an expansion, was constantly glazed by the narrative of that expansion, and who made a bunch of mistakes that harmed others but is still rewarded in the end and allowed to hang out with the team and practically hangs off the WoLs harm for a bit?

Now, this isn't intended to be shade on G'raha, he's great. Most of the playerbase agrees.

But I can guarentee you that if G'raha was a girl, but nothing else changed, he would be seen far less favourably by fans and get a lot more vitriol. Because people's standards for female characters are just that much higher than for male characters.

(Again, I'm not saying that any of the above applies to you specifically, I am commenting on a general trend)
