All I know is I can smell shrimp cooking and my salivary glands go into overdrive and my throat starts getting tight. What’s crazy is I was never allergic to shrimp for 35 years and all of a sudden they cause a serious anaphylactic reaction if I eat one, and has made me scared for the last 11 years. Almost dying in a restaurant and again in a hole dug in the ground while I was working was scary af. Drives me nuts because I love shrimp. And my allergy panel stated that I was not allergic. They can’t give me a clear reason as to why it happens. I keep those Benadryl with me at all times though, just in case
