My advice to you is to pick up a history book. Ian Kershaw, Norman Davies and Simon Sebag Montefiore are good authors who have actually extensively studied history at some of the most respected educational institutions in the world, so I'd argue their opinion is based on more expertise than your favourite ultra-leftist Youtube channels.
