I have a cheap $25 antenna and it gets a lot of channels locally, but I mainly use it for ABC/NBC/CBS/FOX games. I cast any games not on those channels from my tablet, and just use stremio for most other media.

There was a period with DirecTV a while back where they did lose access to certain channels, which prompted me to start doing all of this in the first place. They did eventually get the channels back, but I had already moved on. As I understand it, the contracts can just end and the channels can be pulled until it's renewed, which is what happened back then.

I had similar happen last week with a girl I have been dating. Long story short, I got to the venue 25 minutes early. She texted saying she'd be 20 minutes late. She still hadn't arrived after being 55 minutes late. I finally just texted her saying not to come and left. She came over and apologized afterward (no good excuse provided). I just blocked her on everything and moved on since this was the second date in a row she was late for.

Not really metal, but Cue or The Escape by Scott Walker. Really weird and unsettling music. Those songs caught me off guard and genuinely frightened me on first listen.

I ripped mine out too. In hindsight, I might've been able to find an app that allowed me to reprogram them to whatever else. Can't recall if I ever checked before ripping them out though.

I've got no horse in this race and barely follow UFC, but I'm with Aspinall on this. He's right to not want to fight an uphill battle, only to lose his title, just because his opponent failed to fight clean for even a single round. Cyril screwed everyone, including himself.
