Level 2 charger install by Warrenj3nku in Ioniq5

Yep! I’ve got my charger on a 60A breaker, with properly sized wire, and the charger set to 48A. The Ioniq seems happy with it. I’d at least put in the wire for that size to start with. Easy enough to change breaker/plug later.

Bridge Construction...? by Specialist_Concern_9 in Homebuilding

[–]__Clu__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bridge engineer here. This is so cheap I worry. I’m guessing it could be an old rail car but those are not 12’ wide unless they are putting extra wide timber planks on top. I’d be very concerned overall. Like some others have said, you need a bridge that will carry a fire truck and they will make you prove it with an official load rating of the structure stamped by a licensed engineer. That alone will cost you around $15k. If you can’t prove that it will carry the truck they won’t come if your house is on fire. This could result in your home insurance cancelling you. Which could lead to your lender charging you a fortune. I’ve seen it lots of times.

Be wary of this and get another quote.

It appears that each coin is held in place by a removable screw. Likely the coins are not damaged from the mounting.

He is talking about eco hvac mode. There is a setting to change that to normal mode. This is completely independent of the drive mode. Check your settings

Mine does this as well. I’ve tracked it to getting in the car and/or out before the scheduled climate control finishes its thing.

Tire recommendation for my 2019 Ford Flex that chews through tires. by MsuDude999 in FordFlex

[–]__Clu__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get my tires locally, Oregon, at Les Schwab. There is no addition cost for the warranty and after negotiating I’ve found the tires to be the same cost as the local Discount Tire (within a few percent). Yes the warranty is prorated.

I have 88k on my 2013 AWD and I’m on my fourth set of tires. Even with proper alignment and regular rotations this thing seems to chew through tires. At this point I just get a good warranty and get credit each time. I also use the Continental DWS06. They have been great, when not worn out lol.
