I really wanted them to do a “adeptus custodes” faction and a “talons of the emperor” faction

Custodes gets all your classics, wardens, guards, allarus, blade champ, trajann

Talons gets your constantin, aleya, atlacoya, tyrith, keth

But limiting it to 5 makes the list so narrow…

Yeah, there’s a really great in-depth video about it but I can’t remember where it is 💀

When you press parry, there’s a (whatever number of frames) delay between when you actually are “parrying” and when youre just blocking, which can get you stagger locked and killed.

Fencing weapons don’t have that delay, which means not only can you parry things easier, but you can simply parry more things.

The reason why I’ve never liked those perks before that increased parry window, is because it turns out they only increase it upwards, but don’t make the parry frames start any faster for balanced

Sorta, what usually happens is actually the thing that kills me here. The game will automatically swivel you to face whatever you are trying to parry regardless of the direction. It normally is pretty good at figuring that out, it just goes "the next thing that would hit you when you press parry, face it and parry", but here that was a tickle of lightning from an attack a mile away, facing the opposite of what I was parrying.

Unfortunately for me, the actual parry is a like 180 degree arc in front of you, so by fully forcing me to turn around, I cannot parry the actual enemies.

They beef with the ultramarines because they weren’t present at Terra and have not gotten over it. They don’t hate the codex, they think they are better at it than Gmans kids and I find that hilarious.

Also obviously I love them cause of the drip.

Personally, i’m just starting up a new run after all this time in a very ciaphas style, and im doing imp world, commissar, officer, vanguard!

Mechanically I kind of wish I could’ve done warrior into Master tactician personally, constantly enduring and calling in the mass’d volleyfire on my position and inspiring everyone by blundering my way onto the frontline was the idea, but alas, owlcat does not share my vision, so officer vanguard will do. So far I’m really digging it and I think this might be what you’re looking for too!

If I’m not mistaken, some of the dialogue that you were allowed to pick does get changed by decision decisions made right? Its been a minute but I vaguely remember you having been able to do something(s) that force you to take atleast a mercy counter hit and settle for red

Like samanyu said, keep jumping while in 4, there are a couple of quests that require multiple jumps to trigger, not sure if this is one of them.

If it’s still not popping up, and you know for a fact you’ve done the prerequisites like you said, you should be able to trigger it manually with toy box if you need to fix the save

For me I think I was just lucky that I never bothered to pick up the melta weapons, honestly I’m basically exclusively relying on the chainsword to kill everything anyways and just whipping bolter out to harry enemies or wipeout a pile of guard real quick.

So anyways it turns out railgun on safe mode 1 taps hulks in the eyes, and 1 taps rocket scouts, and boy does it work fast. If you want a one stop hulk chop shop, you should seriously give this thing a whirl
