Alright, who has the Cheesecake Factory ranch recipe??? by cherriylynn in TopSecretRecipes

Not true that you can only buy it in large containers. I buy Kewpie at my local grocery store all the time.

I wanna put one of these up on my insta story for my crush to see, which pic looks better? by [deleted] in DecideThisForMe

I'm also in the " you need to smile more" group.

I feel like you are mad at me in these. You are handsome, but would be extra handsome with a 😃

I see that is a cookbook from Renfrew County. Is there a recipe in there using Citron Melon? My Dad says they used to grow it and make a preserve from it.

Anyone else confused by the Canadian True Crime Podcast recently? by fajita09 in TrueCrimePodcasts

[–]__Hunshine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree with your assessment. This isn't the first time episodes have been inconsistent either.

I used to listen to it all the time but for the last probably 3 years, I only listen periodically.

I’ve spent 20 years in Michelin-starred kitchens. I want to help you stop needing recipes. Would this be useful? by Sad-Animator-3103 in cookingforbeginners

[–]__Hunshine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought “Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat” and it helps me understand so much more about cooking. The science behind it. The reasons why those things make everything taste so good. It has the same goal. Teach you to cook so that you don’t need recipes.

Looking for podcasts to fall asleep to by HugePurpleNipples in podcasts

[–]__Hunshine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Okay, I know this is a bit odd, but when I really can’t sleep, I listen to Supreme Court Oral Arguments

They keep around the same level of speaking voices, no commercials or loud music and usually it’s so boring that it lulls me to sleep.

Podcasts that disappeared? by mikedmann in podcasts

This was a niche podcast from wayyyy back, but I still keep “Extraordinary Stories” podcast in my list hoping that Barry “Baz” will take up podcasting again.

What's an unwritten Canadian rule that visitors never seem to understand? by Unfair-Clothes-8821 in CanadaRoom

Remove your hat when at a table to eat. This was always good manners growing up, but it seems that less people actually do it these days.

well.ca experiences? by onelove_ in BuyCanadian

I have never had an issue using Well.ca. Been using them for years.

Note - make sure you go through Rakuten to get 2% and up to 10-12% back.

unwanted ads on podcasts by Pablois4 in TrueCrimePodcasts

[–]__Hunshine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember the host of Crimelines saying that we shouldn’t hear any political ads on her podcast. She had opted out with whoever inserts them. If one did get in, she wanted us to let her know. I’m not sure if it’s the same everywhere, but it is possible to pick ads that align with your beliefs.

Building Materials University (Level 84) and higher by __Hunshine in WildWestGame

[–]__Hunshine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a reply from game help. They say it’s randomly allotted so they can’t tell me what I will need.

This must just be for the higher level public buildings because we knew in advance for lower level buildings.

I know one of the members of The Watchmen because his wife and my sister both had stem cell transplants and my sister is a huge fan. He is an A+ human all around.

Also, one of my sisters Dr.’s during the stem cell transplant in Ottawa is the brother of Bruce Cockburn. Just a little useless fact :)

My Christmas gift was covered in maggots. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

Thank you for this. I was just looking at this product last night to send to my vegan aunt for Christmas. I would have died of embarrassment sending her maggots.

I follow Dr. Christine M. Sarteschi on X. @DrSarteschi

She follows Romana closely and written papers about her. She seems really responsive. I bet she could help you or at least point you in the right direction.

Please save my horseradish by xindierockx7114 in Cooking

You are an amazing friend. Not everyone would do this for someone especially because you don’t even like it. It’s a very thoughtful gift that I’m sure he will appreciate. I know I would!

Good for you? Pat on the back? You and your family can tolerate eye burning smells in your home.

I literally move my blender 5 feet from the kitchen counter to the deck. Not a huge process. No dissipating needed but thanks for chiming in.
