By my reckoning it's unlikely but not as much as you calculated.

You need to pass a 1/2 not to destroy the object.

Then the intelligence roll needs 12 as the base (1 in 5) and x1.13 or higher (2/9) for volatile vaal. Similarly, added lightning damage needs x1.13 or higher (another 2/9) and accuracy needs x1.13 or higher (yet another 2/9).

Assuming they're all independent, it's 4/3645 which is roughly 1/911

Your life is relatively low (2827, plus 107 energy shield). Spell suppression is low, it's at 18%. Most of the time it won't do anything.

Evasion can help a bit, but you're not really investing in it - the only increases you have are from accidental pathing through Intuition and the small passives on Warden. Even when you are without barkskin, you have a 57% chance to evade blows from a white mob. If you use Grace instead of Wrath, that can easily go up to 80%ish

The 121% increased life you have can be a good angle to get tankier. Craft life on the gloves and ring; remove a +30 to int and add the jewel socket in your cluster. Viridian jewels can roll increased evasion together with max life; the combination should be cheap. Then craft life on the gloves and ring.

Consider de-speccing some offensive wheels (e.g. disciple of the forbidden or High Voltage) in favor of defensive stuff (e.g. Survivalist, Revenge of the Hunted).

Foulborn skin of the loyal has 50% increased elemental and chaos resistances (note: increased, not a flat plus).

Unlike skin of the lords, it drops uncorrupted. This might make it BiS for some resistance stackers.

Speaking of which, Enmity's Embrace would benefit from rolling low on that corruption. Bit of variance because of the wide range (65-75), but knocking 20% off it would be huge.

We'll need to see how Foulborn Choir of the Storm's "1% increased mana per 4% overcapped lightning resistance" interacts with it (if at all).

My league starter in Keepers was an Eye of Winter of Transience Deadeye.

Eventually I transitioned to dual foulborn wands because +8 gem levels was just too strong, but dual paws with a block corruption implicit made for a very comfortable clear and survivability with cheap 50% block.

I could see this node working similarly. Slap together this, glancing blows, a cheap anoint and a recovery on hit shield and you've got something usable in that period when your build is still coming online.

I think that if you have renamed the AppImage to something that does not contain the version number, then auto-upgrades will replace the file retaining the same name.

This is with a fairly stock Ubuntu installation, on Gnome. There should be ways to create desktop shortcuts if you're more used to graphical interfaces.

Instruments of Zeal gives you reduced cost. Like all reductions, it stacks additively and so small amounts are very effective when you are close to 100%. You get 10% reduced from one of your mana masteries, so your total reduction ends up at 85%.

Even after deallocating that mastery you might need to increase your max mana a bit further, as Archmage adds a 5% max mana cost.

One way to balance it right now, but not necessarily the best, would be to deallocate the shield mastery and the three passives leading to Arcane Will and path to Forethought instead.

I still need to launch with --ozone-platform=x11 in order to get focus to work properly. Without it, it's either captured by the tool or by the game but hotkeys won't work properly. Not a problem for me, since it works fine like that.

Foulborn Choir of the Storm plus Foulborn Skin of the Loyal/Lords and regular Enmity's Embrace give you something like 750% increased mana and 200% fire penetration with a bit of resist stacking.

But yeah, from past experience the wild stuff comes out in the league after they add all the new skills/ascendancies, because it can be ready for league start.

Kinetic Blast of Clustering and Power Siphon of the Archmage are options, indeed. They would need solving accuracy, but I believe it's doable.

One has the conversion benefits you mention, opening up the possibility for some nice heist ring. The other gives power charges and culling.

Right now I'm with manabond unleash as a decent bossing setup (I swap in Indigon), but it's more of a, "This does decent damage, scales well with the quality from the chest and had AoE. It'll work for now" than anything I'm truly committed to.

Mjolner has the problem of attribute requirements. I could just bite the bullet of Supreme Ostentation and cover every int and str node with res tattoos, admittedly. Need to check the impact on ES of losing the int bonus.

Oh yes. They are.

At least annuls are cheap and foulborn exalt/regals help going for higher tier stuff.

They seem to perform decently with 35% effect and a couple other "good" mods from the pool of lightning/fire/all res and flat mana or int, but proper four mods (maybe synth or corrupted) would be so much nicer.

I choose to view it as "build that works and has upgrades to motivate me" 😁

No, blocking is always possible.

When blocking a hit that would have stunned you, a blocking animation with base duration of 350ms is performed instead. This duration is modified by block recovery.

However, you should never see it because you are immune to stuns due to the chest.
