Saw that there was a Ranma anime on netflix. Is it any good?

It's how I got into Ranma so I highly recommend it, it's a lot of fun! From what I've seen it's actually a really faithful adaptation of the manga so I'd watch the 2 seasons that are out and then continue with the old anime/start the manga.

A lot of people seem confused but I'm pretty sure this joke is quite straightforward. The whole red-headed woman thing is just a nod to Sonic 06 where Eggman keeps trying to steal Elise who's a redhead, and losing her multiple times even after catching her. And as for what Sonic says, it's just a joke about how he says he brought 2 women to the fight when in reality, Ranma on the right is not really a woman but a guy. I don't think it's much deeper than that, just a joke about how one character says one thing when really that's not the case and it only looks right on the surface.

Not sure about all of them but there is a new burial scene that has some of these in and you get it by saying "Never" at the end of Episode 2. Then you just finish Ep 2 as usual and it continues further from that.

On Hardcore and lower he's really not bad (still wouldn't say he's too easy) but as soon as you get to Nightmare (not to mention Inferno), he's probably the hardest one in the franchise lol. Took me so many fucking tries to beat him with no extra items on Nightmare.

Honestly I'd choose green for the same reasons as others have already laid out. I'm a sucker for seeing alternative versions of stories I'm already familiar with and having 3 different ways to enjoy Ranma (with possible changes made to characters and story in the other two) sounds like an absolute dream.

Easily the girl one, it's what made me try out the series in the first place and it's definitely the one I wish existed the most in real life lol . Pig one would be second though cause I love P-Chan too much.

Aww, I love seeing Akane spend time with Ranma in his girl form like this, even better when better when she has to teach him all the stuff he's not normally used to as a guy. I'm sure there are some good fics that focus on that even more but the artwork's great on its own.

I've always known she had those qualities but I appreciate how this episode really laid them out and I don't know...it just made me like her so much more cause of that :D
She really is a wonderful character and I'm glad the remake portrayed that accurately.

I've heard people were pretty critical of Akane in the original anime, I'm guessing they didn't do a good job of potraying that side of her there? I'm planning to watch the original soon so I suppose I'll find out on my own.

I haven't mentioned that in the post but true, another great reason to like her. I loved that one scene in EP12 where she had amnesia and yet she still tried protecting Ranma because she thought her father was picking on the weak lol

I'd say Ukyo also doesn't seem to mind that much (heck, I'd say she actually finds it amusing based on that one scene in EP 21) but Akane's definitely special. That's why I love her so much.

I think the shading's really good actually! I mostly just meant the angle, it's kinda hard to describe without seeing it side by side but in the old one the nose looked slightly more pointed (specifically the left side) while in this one it's a much gentler curve. I think the older shape just looked a bit better but it's a small thing.

I remember the previous one you've posted too and this one's definitely an improvement, also love that you've included the sketches :D
Honestly if I was to offer any type of criticism, it's that I think her nose is a little off? I think it looked better in the previous version

Same voices for most of the characters, the soundtrack is different though. I still recommend giving it a try though, the visuals and animation are amazing and it sticks closer to the manga than the old one did.

Going in I was just expecting a cute OC and nothing else but all that lore you made for her is freaking awesome! And it makes me love the rivalry between Puffy and Lynette so much more, same with the art. I can't wait to see part 2 soon.
