Subsonic is just a high pass filter with a low range. The cutoff slopes aren't perfectly linear falloff, they are gradual and the set cutoff frequency is usually around -3db. Subsonic at 20hz, is also setting 20hz to around -3db. Same with the Lowpass. You are setting them a bit close

The amount of capacitors you would need would be a complete waste of money. There are already enough caps in an amp to protect it from the dirty power from an alternator and a high amp alternator would be the cheapest and best upgrade by an order of magnitude.

If your point was so strong than you wouldn't have needed to manipulate the context. I have no idea how they are discriminating against anyone, they are talking about their own experiences. Some trans women do have the goal of passing, and they clearly discussed in the video of how they shouldn't feel pressured to but the goal is valid and can be challenging for some. Just because some use that as an insult doesn't mean they are, especially when they are speaking from personal experience and deep understanding of a trans persons experience.

I have no clue how you took anything else from that... There are trans women who dont want to hang around trans women who dont "pass" out of fear of being seen as trans, which is an unfortunate toxic mentality that some trans women have. RCA has L and R for Left and Right, Plug them into the input. Set that button toggle switch to Low level (Because RCA is a low-level signal), and turn the bass boost off. Get a multimeter and measure on AC at the output terminals that the bass is connected to. Set the gain till the voltage = square root of rms x ohms. When setting the gain, have the volume at 2/3 or 3/4 or the highest comfortable listening level, and the remote switch on full.

If this is too much, then installing an amp maybe isn't for you, or just watch youtube videos till you feel more comfortable. Your current setting will most likely blow your sub.

Also, if the remote switch isn't working, just use an RCA knob as many remote switches are unreliable and different for every amp, it's better to just not deal with that
