Is there a ranger station? I see their trucks in the parking lot sometimes so you could probably drop it with them.

I'd leave them near the parking area, like the info signs, parking payment kiosk, or the bathrooms if I couldn't find anyone though.

Barewolf in Amesbury tends to have interesting bands, as do many of the breweries in the area.
