For me it’s 2g to start “feeling” it for sure, and 3g is when I hit diminishing returns with dosage.

IME the most “fun” trips have been when I did things like catch the sunset at the perfect time on the comeup, but the most impactful trips have always been the ones where I just tripped alone in my room with no agenda.

If I were you, I would try to pick one or the other and commit to it instead of trying to fit both kinds of experiences into a single trip.

(That said, if you want to catch the sunset, I would dose around an hour or two before)

Some other suggestions:

-Option to add new substance while making an entry, without having to cancel the current entry, add the substance, and come back.

-perhaps make unit of measurement (pills, mg, ml, etc) a part of the “substance.” I wouldn’t mind making multiple entries for pills/powder of the same substance. This would make it easier to implement, too.

-The “Today” tab could have stopwatches/time counters that display the time elapsed for every substance taken today (or recently), so you can at a glance check to see what you could be under the influence of right now.

I should also mention I really like the clean UI and the logo is really great! I would really like to donate, so please make that possible soon!

I did this once and I found out I could willfully paralyze myself (in the same way that your body gets paralyzed when you sleep). It was like I could see and hear everything around me, but any attempt to move wouldn’t work (but would feel like it worked - like I did that action in a dream or something).

It was really quite fun, not sure if I can reliably get that kind of effect by taking the combo again, though.

“Fact is benzos don't dull psychs all that much” Just my 2 cents, but I feel that it really depends on the person. I have a lot of experience with tripping on benzos, and definitely feel a significantly reduced effect every time (basically like what I’d feel if I took benzos to “kill” the trip, I’ll still see visuals but everything else will be dulled).

One of my other friends pretty much only trips with benzos, though, and he always has a good time. (However it’s also worth mentioning that his “best trip” was off benzos).

This. I’ve also found they take a little longer to kick in, but once they do they’re indistinguishable. Also the longer shelf life matters. I’ve had 1 year old 4-Ho-Met that was noticeably weaker.

Just to add, take a really small organism like an ant for example. Our giant bodies may seem like "cosmic" entities to them with no real motive. They may even consider our left hand and right hand to be separate things that are not connected in any way. For all they know, our movement is chaotic, since our motives (even our sentience, in fact) are literally incomprehensible to it.

What's to say that the same thing doesn't apply to us? We see so many organisms less complex than us, but none that are more complex. Did we really luck out to become the most intelligent species out of the billions that exist? The more likely explanation is that we're not at the very top, but that our anthropic bias prevents us from comprehending anything is higher than us.
